My favorite record store is closing so i had to buy their inventory
I made beats ‘til five in the morning
When they open up, i gotta hit the post office
Cuz i made some new shirts and somebody just copped it
Never underestimate the power of a single person
Always see a bigger picture when you all alone rehearsing
Never let ‘em tell you that you’re late for this, you showed up early
Always kept a discipline even when it felt uncertain
It’s been a journey, we gon’ make it through
I don’t battle depression, i paint with the color blue
You ain’t gonna tell me what the heck i’m meant to do
When no one knew who i was, my sketchbook knew
I’m protected by my prayers and my willingness to suffer
Everything’s temporary, it’ll be different next summer
I believe in myself and everything that is shown to me
The future that i’m destined for is written in my poetry
