J.Simplicity – Rex’s Divine Ascension Lyrics

Artist: J.Simplicity
Song: Rex’s Divine Ascension

I woke up Sunday morning, 14th of November
Remember it clearly, but I don’t wanna remember
My sister, mother, father all blowing up my phone
So they could tell me that Rex died and he’s gone

And so was I
Hanged up the phone and proceed to cry
Screaming why, on the floor I lie
I cry more cause i didn’t even say goodbye

Any type of high will never get me out this low
That’s what i know but i dont really know
I’m driving home from sin city going a buck 50
And I don’t care if I crash

I’m in a hurry in a dash just to see him for the last…time
Thinking bout thе memories from beginning to thе end just wish there was no end, but I know all great things come to an end
This is for my dog Rex, you’re my best friend
A divine ascension

Let me mention and point attention to my best friend named Rex
We found him in a pound, August 2006
We picked him cause he stood out from the rest, his breed was mixed
He had white fur, and an ear bigger than the other

He was the perfect size and he never shed a number
We brought him home there were many time he ran away
But then I earned his trust and he always chose to stay
He would be in my room when I woke up every morning

He’ll be at every party while the drinks were pouring
He’ll never bark at anyone, only bad guest
I miss him so much, he even help me with the ladies
He was my child, was my son, was my baby

I even loved him more than other human beings
I believe all dogs will go to heaven
So I’ll see you at heavens gate, I won’t be late now
