Diesel Clockwork – Life Cypher Lyrics

Artist: Diesel Clockwork
Song: Life Cypher

Diesel here, put momma in the backseat (shotgun)
All my peers looking on, peep my rapsheet (peep it)
Not hungry? i don’t care imma forcefeed
Hear me howling like a wolf down on wallstreet (owoooowo)

Think plato could be part of my family tree
23andme, learnin bout my pedigree (uh)
Jealousy got em writing all them hateful tweets (huh)
Leave em laying like a rock on the concrete (dink!)

Roll my sleeves up carefully
Yeah. only hit my line for an emergency-
Certainly – a flaw in his circuitry
Did we pass the due date? check the warrantee

How did it come down to this?
Yeah-diеsel ain’t even got a pot to piss (nopе)
Hit-or-miss, hoping no one notices
Top ten worst rappers bet i’m on that list (you know it)

Thought i was crazy in the second grade
O.c.d came and turned me to a basket case
I sat and prayed, asking for some better days
Kept searching for the light while amongst the shade (help me!)

Late at night i used to lay awake,-
My thoughts conveyed, something i could not evade-
My conscience weighed, heavy like a barricade-
Until i finally pulled the pin from the hand grenade

Them days shaped who i am today, can’t complain-
Check out all my accolades
The shrink we paid, grabbed me by the shoulder blade
Told me the only way out was to disobey

I never will forget all the games we played
The nights and days, always said the righteous things
Never laid it on thick like some marmalade
R.i.p to mark, wish you were here today

Twist the top off the mason jar
No more bottling it up, leave the cap ajar
Not used to me rapping its a lil bizarre
But imma master the arts like the avatar

Don’t you dare think that you’ve got the gist
There’s a lot to my story that you’ve probably missed (yup)
Back in middle school i used to get really pissed (uh-huh)
Every day the same bullies making fun of my wrists (look at his wrists!)

Every single day i’d hoped and wished –
That i would get bigger but i never did
Body shaming slim people always got dismissed
Spent hours tryna learn how to deal with sh#t

Couldn’t gain weight eating, so i started to lift
But my metabolism really never skipped a shift
I must admit, their words started causing a rift
Their thoughts became mine – then i lost my wits

I never quit, something that i almost did
There were days that i wished i was off the grid
I was called a twig, words that would flip my lid
At least my brain ain’t the size of a guinea pig’s

On top of all that, i failed an exam (idiot!)
Ms. kuhn gave my mom the whole song and dance
Said i couldn’t sit still and i played with my hands
So my mom went and put me on the 30 milligrams (kinda right tho)

That vyvanse was the biggest scam
Twelve year old zombie, i was in a trance
I’ll be damned, ruined all my social plans
I was sitting so still the ants left my pants (no friends)

Before i ever got diagnosed
I used to be the class clown with the funny jokes (facts)
Then the drugs flipped the switch now i’m taking notes
Bid my social life and appetite an adios (my grades went up tho)

Mom and i have always been real close
So when she saw i wasn’t happy she was first to oppose
Changed my dose, after weighing cons and pros
She was the unsung hero as the saying goes (love you momma)

Twist the top off the mason jar
No more bottling it up, leave the cap ajar
Not used to me rapping its a lil bizarre
But imma master the arts like the avatar
